People living near a Midsomer Norton primary school are beingasked for their opinion on the best ways for pupils to get toschool.
St John's School's travel plan, which looks at how pupils get toand from school and whether it can reduce the amount of cars makingthe school run, is being reviewed and local people are being askedfor their help.
The travel plan is reviewed on a regular basis by members of theschool community including pupils, staff, parents and governors.
The school would also like to hear the views of neighbouringresidents in Redfield Road. This year the survey can be completedonline with a cut-off date of April 8. It takes around five minutes to complete.
The results of the survey are used by B&NES council to informfuture policy on traffic measures around the school and are one wayin which local residents can let the council know of any issues theyhave.
The residents' survey can be found on www.surveymonkey.com/s/St_Johns_MSN_STP _Survey_2011 and on the school's own website, www.st-johnscofe.bathnes.sch.uk /Parent-Information/Travel- plan-surveys.
The school is offering sessions to local residents who would liketo complete the survey but do not have access to the internet.
The sessions will be held at the school on Monday, April 4 andWednesday, April 6, from 3pm to 3.30pm, in the ICT suite.
